In honor of Dubuque Main Street's Architecture Days, Carnegie-Stout Public Library in Dubuque will show the movie "The Belly of an Architect on Thursday April 21st @ 6PM in the Aigler Auditorium on the 3rd Floor. Admission and snacks are free and friendly discussion will be encouraged after the show.
Written and directed by Peter Greenway and starring Brian Dennehy, the movie is a drama about an American architect who travels to Rome to set up an exhibition honoring a French architect of the 1800s, where he increasingly becomes obsessed with his wife's adultery and his own failing health. The movie is 2 hours long and is rated R.
